However, if your camera has less than 6 megapixels, chances are that SDHC won't work for you.

At prices ranging from US$20 to US$50, depending on where you are, the SDHC memory card is a small fraction of your camera cost. Any serious camera user would want to equip him/her self with a high capacity memory like SDHC for much greater convenience.
